Bahria Town gives 25 PhD Stipends annually

Protoday247 News Desk: Malik Riaz Hussain, the top real estate builder and chairman of Bahria City, has declared an extensive scholarship for 25 Pakistani PhD students to pursue studies at 200 top foreign universities chosen from front ranked domestic universities next year.
Beneath the Rukhsana Memorial Trust named after the mother of Malik Riaz who conducts several philanthropic works, the scholarships will be granted to Pakistani graduates. The Pakistani graduates will have the ability to pursue science and technology PhD programs at 200 major universities in the USA, Europe , Asia, China and Japan. The scholarships will be given annually to 25 students studying in Pakistan NED, Karachi, UET, Lahore, Punjab University, Peshawar University and Quaid-e – Azam University in Islamabad, in five front ranked universities.
Chairman Bahria Town Malik Riaz said on the occasion that anyone who make use of the scholarships will be obligated to work with the government of Pakistan for five years. The grants will require overseas travel fares too.
