It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when he saw the new moon, he would stretch out his hands in supplication to Allah and say: Every nation around the world is deeply interested in their new year. Her arrival is accompanied by a warm heart and she is greeted with joy, devotion and respect. Islam has declared the reception of the sighting of the crescent moon as a reward. It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that when he saw the new moon, he would stretch out his hands in supplication to Allah and say: (Tirmidhi)

May the moon of divine goodness and guidance be the moon of goodness and guidance, may my lord be the moon of goodness and guidance, may the moon of divine goodness and guidance be the moon! I believe in the One who created you.
Then he says: Praise be to Allah. (Abu Dawud: 5092)

The month of Muharram is the first blessed month of our Hijri year. When the Muslims were saved from the riots of the infidels of Makkah through migration, Islam progressed, the word of monotheism prevailed, the flags of polytheism and innovation were lowered and the ground was paved for the establishment of an Islamic government. The month of Muharram is one of the first and most sacred months of the Islamic year.

Even in the time of Jahiliyyah, people would respect the sanctity of these months and refrain from fighting and fighting because Allah Almighty has told them in the Holy Quran about these months that you should not oppress your souls during these months.

(Al-Tawbah) Explaining this verse, Hafiz Ibn Katheer (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Allah Almighty has made oppression forbidden in the twelve months of the year, then four of them are forbidden. Just as the reward of goodness and righteous deeds is greater in them, so is the sin of disobedience greater. (Tafsir Ibn Katheerj 2 p. 468) This month requires the people of Islam to refrain from disobeying Allah and keep their feet clean and free from sins, because disobedience causes the heart to become rusty. Their hearts are rusted because of their evil deeds.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When a believer commits a sin, a black dot falls on his heart. If he continues to sin, the ink grows and even covers his heart. This is the rust that Allah has mentioned in the Qur’an. This sacred month requires us to abandon disobedience to God and move towards goodness and the welfare of humanity. For this, unity and harmony in one’s ranks is a basic thing so that the spirit of love and affection can be created in the hearts of human beings.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) emphasized on promoting mutual greetings during meetings. Similarly, he said that a Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe. Our true love and devotion to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also requires that we follow your command to promote mutual peace and not to hurt anyone with our tongues and hands during these days.
Inshallah, this act will increase mutual love and affection, will end differences and strife and mischief.

If the pages of history are turned, it is clear that the beginning and end of the Islamic year is with martyrdom, because in the last month of the Islamic year (Dhu al-Hijjah), Usman Ghani was martyred and the beginning of the year was on the 1st of Muharram. Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions were martyred on 10th Muharram.

There is no doubt that Usman Ghani was the son-in-law of the Prophet and Umar Farooq was the son-in-law of the Prophet. It is also a fact that the Holy Prophet had a great love for his grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) because he was the liver of his beloved daughter Syeda Fatima Al-Zahra (RA). The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, hugged Imam Hassan and Hussain and said, “O Allah, I love them, so love them.”

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came out of his house and came to us. Hasan and Hussain were riding on his shoulders. You were in love with them. A man asked: O Messenger of Allah! Do you love them? He said: He who loves them hates me, he who hates them hates me.

In the same way, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had declared Hasan and Hussain (RA) as his two flowers in the world. Suddenly Hazrat Hussain (RA) started crying. I left him and he went straight to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and sat down. Jibreel Amin (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, “O Messenger of Allah, do you love him?” He said, “Yes.” Then Jibreel Amin said that they will be martyred soon. If you want, I will show you the soil of the land on which they will be martyred. They then showed you the soil. Goes
