Blessings of Ramadan Kareem
Ramadan month is arriving very soon with a great collection of blessings and benefits. Hopefully, 2019’s Ramadan will start from 6th of May, Monday.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ said: The Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم has stated to His Sahabah رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم,
“The sacred month of Ramadan, which is extremely blessed, has approached you, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has made fasts obligatory upon you; doors of Jannah are opened in this month and the doors of Hell are closed, even devils are chained up; one of its night is better than a thousand nights and the one who is deprived of its blessings is absolutely deprived.”
(Musnad Imam Ahmad Bin Hanbal, vol. 3, pp. 331, Hadees 9001)
In this Holy month of Ramadan, Muslims around the globe reconnect themselves with the recitation of the Holy Quran on daily basis, they fast during the day and offer voluntary prayer (Tahajud) which is a Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) along with Namaz e Isha.
Abdullah Ibn Amr reported that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said:
“The fast and the Qur’an are two intercessors for the servant of Allah on the Day of Resurrection. The fast will say: ‘O Lord, I prevented him from his food and desires during the day. Let me intercede for him.’ The Qur’an will say: ‘I prevented him from sleeping at night. Let me intercede for him.’ And their intercession will be accepted.”
The Muslims also give away charity & provide food to the poor to support them financially so that they can enjoy the blessings of this Precious month as well. Many Muslims sit in I’tikaaf for the whole month of Ramadan while a few other for the last 10 days following the Sunnah of Nabi e Pak (PBUH) & the Sahaba (May Allah be Pleased with Them).
The month of Ramadan is full of countless rewards from the dawn to dusk and at nights. It’s a treasure which never ends even after distributing all of its blessings and gifts among the Muslims across the globe. So, they cordially desire & try to spend most of their time in different Ibadah (worshiping Almighty Allah) to collect as much benefits & blessings as possible out of this month of Allah.
Abu Huraira has narrated: The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said,
“Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven”
May Allah Ta’ala give us Taufeeq to spend Ramadan in a manner that satisfies Him, and to boost its advantage.
