Preparations to start cleaning of Karachi have been completed on Saturday.
An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister Sindh Muraad Ali Shah. The meeting was informed that arrangements have been finalized for cleaning Karachi.
At the meeting, Murad Ali Shah said that we have to rebuild the city and now we will clean Karachi.
He guided the city organization to evacuate infringements underneath flyovers and force fines on manufacturers tossing flotsam and jetsam of their under-development structures on avenues and make exacting move against those tossing waste on boulevards.
He also said that this habit of people of throwing trash and dumping garbage on roads will not stop by the individuals who are persistently doing it until and unless overwhelming fines are forced on them.
Murad Ali Shah added that he would oversee the cleanup campaign and ordered the photos and videos of the cleaning work be made.
Chief Minister Sindh said that strict action would be taken against those who throw garbage on the roads and cleanliness monitoring of each district will be handed over to two ministers, while police and Rangers make security arrangements.
The Deputy Commissioners informed the Chief Minister that funds have been released to each DC for 50 million rupees.
