Chinese telecom Huawei- the world’s second-biggest smartphone maker has been restricted by the US internet giant Google for its Android operating system.

Google, a well-recognized telecommunication system that powers almost all the world’s smartphones with its huge Android mobile operating system has taken the shocking decision of cutting the ties off due to the national security threats.
The administration of Trump has issued a list of the companies including China-Huawei that have been banned due to the lack of license.  American firms have strictly been ordered to break off all the contracts with such companies.

The ban by Google on Huawei actually mean the smartphones no longer can be pleased with Google’s security updates, technical support, and the of the apps such as YouTube, Google Maps, and Gmail in any of the new devices. The ban also includes the sharing of technology. However, the version of the Android operating system which might be available through an open source license can still be used by Huawei.
Huawei smartphone users can get upset by this dramatic implications by the Telecoms Gaint Google.
Google has told in a statement, “We are complying with the order and reviewing the implications.”
“For users of our services, Google Play and the security protections from Google Play Protect will continue to function on existing Huawei devices,” it added.
On the other hand, the reports say that the personal operating system to replace Google’s Android and Microsoft’s Windows is being developed by Huawei. The founder of Chinese telecoms giant Huawei has said that they are ready to face the crackdown by Washington and will lower down their reliance on the components of the US.
Richard Yu the Executive of Huawei stated: “We have prepared our own operating system. Should it ever happen that we can no longer use these systems, we would be prepared.”
Though Huawei is a rapidly expanding leader in 5G technology it still remains dependent on foreign suppliers. The worthy components of approximately $67 billion along with $11 billion from US suppliers are purchased every year.
The reports say that it’s a trap that Washington’s intense campaign is set to coax the allies against the approval of Chinese 5G mobile networks to be built for the generation to come.
The initiative in this regard has already been taken by the US government agencies by banning the purchase of Huawei products.
