HALEEMA- A PAKISTANI FEMALE CYCLIST DREAMS TO GET VICTORY IN THE NATIONAL GAMES

A young Junior Cycling Champion from Peshawar, a city of the province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Haleema Ghayoor has big open-eyed-dreams of becoming a National Hero and earn a name for the beloved nation and wants to prove the world that nothing is impossible if one has a true determination towards his/ her goals.

Haleema had started cycle racing at a very young age and set some goals to accomplish to make the country proud. She is the first girl from Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa to be known as the professional cyclist.

While talking to the media she said, “A cycling team was being made from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I was told about it by my instructor so I went for the trials.”

“I got selected in the side and since then cycling has become a permanent fixture in my life,” she added.

Her upcoming vision is to be the winner in the next “National Games” to be held in Peshawar starting from October 21st till 27th October. Earlier, she has got victory in National Junior Race and Road Cycling Championships and got medals.

After the win, she expressed her joy by saying, “It’s a very satisfying experience to win gold.”

Haleema Ghayoor is going to represent her province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the upcoming event in October.

She expresses her hopes for the other girls to move forward and turn their dreams of cycling into reality by following her footsteps.
