Crime News: After seeking tough times for many years due to security, the citizens of the city of Quaid- Karachi have got the chance to calm themselves down and enjoy their lives in a peaceful and secure atmosphere.
The largest user-contributed database of the worldwide cities & countries in its yearly report of International Crime Index has mentioned Karachi on the 70th position this year.
In its 2014’s report, Karachi was declared among the most dangerous cities in the world ranging the 6th position in the Crime Index.
In 2015, its rank gradually decreased to 10th position and in 2016 this rank commenced to improve even more ranking on 26th position.
With the grace of Almighty Allah, this ranking stood on 47th and 50th position by the years of 2017 & 2018.
Finally, this year Karachi has got itself out of the dangerous pace and getting towards smoother crime free position.
After the issuance of this International Crime Report, Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor expressed his satisfaction over the current Crime Index report on Monday, 22nd of April in his tweet on social media. He admired and gave the credit of this peaceful & stable Karachi to the teamwork of civil administration and security forces, including Intelligence agencies, police and Sindh rangers” for their magnificent performance.
After paying gratitude to Allah Almighty, D.G Asif Ghafoor also praised the Karachities for their patience and co.operation congratulated for the achievement and showed the hope to keep this stability permanent and move towards the even farther improvement within the times to come.
