Pak Army Won an International Military Drill Competition

The Pak Army won the Military Media Wing, a multinational military drill competition. The exhibition, dubbed the Speed Sticking Exhibition, took place at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in Berkshire County, UK, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The win marked the third time that Pakistan won the competition, said the ISPR. Pakistan’s Army was represented in the competition by the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), it added. According to ISPR, nine teams took part in the competition this year. The Sandhurst commander, Maj Gen Dunzan Capps, praised the Pakistan team for its “superb synchronisation” and for winning the competition for the third consecutive year.

Meanwhile, in his congratulatory message, Moazzam Ahmad Khan, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom (UK), commended Pakistan ‘s commitment and spirit to taking up the challenge. He said the Pakistan team once again displayed the highest level of discipline and excellence that our armed forces have retained. Since 1928, with its roots related to the Royal Regiment of Artillery, the Speed Sticking Race has been held in the UK.
