It is worth mentioning here that the decision of expanding the table of ICC Men’s T20I World Cup was taken by the ICC last year which states that the all the Men’s T20 matches between the members will be classified as internationals from the 1st January 2019 onwards.
Further, 58 T20 matches are included in this qualification procedure for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup crosswise over the five regional final which is probably going to mean noteworthy developments on the rankings over the coming months.
The first final was held in the last month in Papua New Guinea whilst the four other finals are still awaited to come, which include, The Africa Final on 24th May 2019 in Uganda, the Europe final in Guernsey as on 19th June 2019 and the Asia final and the Americas finals are on 28th July 2019 and 25th August 2019 in Singapore and the USA respectively.
The teams still have a golden chance in the global qualifier to improve their ranking to be qualified for the future World Cup to be held in Australia in 2020 (ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020).
