Much of the growth in population occurs in big cities where living cost already sky higher than the rural areas which act as a death trap for them. Hence, these citizens have to pay higher taxes for their so-called better living.

The World Population day is not a public holiday but it is organized and celebrated by the business groups, community organizations, social workers and many volunteers in through arranging various themes like seminars, discussions, essay competitions, and educational information sessions, etc.
Why control the birth ratio?
Everyone has a right to decide whether how many children they should have.
But the governments have their duties to regulate & balance the population by making some long term policies like imposing additional taxes on more than 2 kids, provide special incentives to the married couples & the most important is to educate the people of all the merits and demerits of the growing population.
The concept of planning for a family is also important because the over-crowded countries get the poorest countries gradually.
