TRANSPORT STRIKE

Mr. Irshad Bukhari- the President of Transport Community Karachi told in his public speech on Tuesday 30th April that a political party had hired our thirteen vehicles for a Rally on Sunday but didn’t return afterward.

He further claimed that the drivers were kept at the Brigade Police station two days back and then vanished from there.

We had also talk with the police officer regarding this matter and they had assured us that they will look in the depth of the matter, Mr. Irshad added.

But in case if we can’t get them back the Karachi Transport Ittehad Community is going to call a transport strike on Thursday 2nd May. Not a single vehicle (buses, mini-buses or coaches) would be seen on the roads of Karachi, he threatened and warned.
